My weekend at Park Regis Birmingham was quite mixed. While the hotel was stylish and the staff were friendly and attentive, my experience was marred by some unexpected issues with noise and room assignments. Overall, I appreciated the spacious room and the attentiveness of the staff, but the lack of effective communication regarding my special requests left me feeling a bit disappointed.
Rooms

I found the room to be spacious and very clean, but I was placed near the lifts which disturbed my sleep due to noise. The large bathroom was a nice touch, though it could use a bit more attention in the corners.
Service
6.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and went the extra mile to assist, but there seemed to be a disconnect in communication as my requests for special touches for my partner's birthday were overlooked.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, just about a 20-minute walk from the city center and nearby various attractions. However, I didn’t get to explore much due to the issues I faced during my stay.
Dining

Breakfast was quite good, with a variety of options available, though I did hope for a few more unique items included in the menu. I enjoyed the quality of the food that was served.
Facilities

The facilities were generally nice, and I appreciated the range of services offered. However, the air conditioning in my room was a bit noisy, which disrupted my relaxation.

My recent stay at Park Regis Birmingham was enjoyable, thanks to the good breakfast and attentive staff. However, I did face a couple of challenges with my room's size and some noise during the night. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I would consider returning in the future.
Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a deluxe double room, which was cleaner than I anticipated, but I found it rather cramped for my taste. The bed was comfortable, though the noise from people outside my room was a bit disruptive (not ideal for a good night's sleep!).
Service
9.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to help, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. Paul, in particular, went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect for us (big thumbs up for that!).
Location

While the hotel is conveniently located near a cinema and restaurants, I found it to be a slight hike to the city center (around 20-30 minutes on foot). With ongoing roadworks, it felt a bit challenging to navigate initially.
Dining
10.0
The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options that were cooked and presented beautifully. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt station (a great way to start the day!), though I opted out for breakfast on my first stay due to cost considerations.

During my stay at Park Regis Birmingham, I enjoyed the spacious executive room and the attentive staff. However, the noise from the lifts was quite disruptive at night, and there were issues with the breakfast quality and value.

My executive room was spacious and equipped with a large bathroom and modern shower. Though, I found the storage limited, with just one slim wardrobe and a few hangers.

My stay at Park Regis Birmingham had its ups and downs. While the hotel has a chic design and is conveniently located near vibrant nightlife, I encountered issues with room quality and service that left me frustrated. Despite these drawbacks, the staff, especially the concierge and the restaurant team, were accommodating and friendly, making my experience nice. Overall, a mixed bag for me. 😊
Rooms
5.0
I had a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise, but my first room was far too small and overlook a construction site. The second room, while better, had a large column blocking some space. If you're looking for something spacious, this may not be it.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, particularly the concierge, who went out of their way to assist me. However, my experience in the restaurant was less satisfactory, with slow service that left me waiting too long for my order.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated within walking distance of local attractions, which is a major plus. However, navigating to the entrance was tricky due to ongoing roadworks in Birmingham, making for a somewhat stressful arrival.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the burgers from the restaurant and the quality of room service was impressive. I've had better breakfast experiences elsewhere, which was disappointing considering the price.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had a variety of amenities, but I found parking to be quite tight and costly. Also, while the gym was available, it felt a bit cramped for a hotel of this size. The spa services were pleasant though and added some relaxation to my stay.

I had a lovely time at Park Regis Birmingham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay special, particularly Marcel and Ana. However, I felt that the communication regarding the executive lounge and spa facilities was lacking, which detracted from an otherwise excellent experience.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and comfortable with quality linens. Though I did notice some minor maintenance issues, like a non-working lamp.
Service
8.0
The customer service was excellent. I particularly appreciated how the staff was genuinely attentive and resolved issues promptly, although there was an unfortunate delay with my afternoon tea order.
Location

The hotel is well-placed, making it easy to walk to local attractions. Yet, there were major roadworks that made the surroundings a bit chaotic.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were great. The breakfast buffet was diverse and of high quality, but my experience with afternoon tea was disappointing due to the long wait for service.
Facilities

The hotel featured impressive facilities, including a well-equipped gym and conference rooms. But I wish I had known more about the dry spa amenities upfront.
